FOX released their schedule. Euro_2024_FOX_Sports_Match_Schedule.pdf (mcusercontent.com) Lot's of matches on terrestrial OTA FOX which I like. ESPN never really did that much with ABC other than an occasional sprinkling of weekend matches and the Final.
Damn, its basically gonna be 24/7 soccer on FOX for the better part of a month! Its going to be a real test to see how much people can stomach Lalas and company. I know I won't even get past the pre-match show of the opening match but wish you all more success.
I'm excited for this summer. It's gonna have a World Cup Vibe to it! Also interested to see the schedule for the Olympic Soccer Tournament when that ever comes up.
Which games are those? Also will those games be available on TUDN/Unimas? I don't wanna pay for Fubo.
These are matches that might just be on Fubo Hungary vs. Switzerland Romania vs. TBD (Playoff winner) Turkey vs. TBD (Playoff winner) Slovakia vs. TBD (Playoff winner) TBD (Playoff winner) vs. Czech Republic FOX has said that the schedule can be changed at any time so maybe if Greece makes it they might put those matches on T.V. or something along those lines. As For Univision there might be a chance one or two of these matches can be on TUDN but more than likely it will be the VIX paywall too. Let's see as the weeks go by what the decisions officially are.
Fubo offers a 7-day free trial. I think that's enough to cover almost all of the "missing" games from the FOX channels.
It sucks that there is no mention of Tubi in any of the press releases from Fox. It worked great for me during the World Cup. I hope that Univision doesn't put these tourneys behind a paywall. Vix is such a horrible app.
Fubo to stream every Copa America, Euro 2024 game https://worldsoccertalk.com/tv/fubo-to-stream-every-copa-america-euro-2024-game/
Looks like almost every Ukraine game will not be on fox, only Fubo. Going to do the free trial or one month. How much is Fubo monthly? Is it just an app I can get on Roku?
We still have to wait for Univision/VIX's schedule to come out. Maybe you could wait until then if you do not want to invest in Fubo.
Its quite expensive, imo. Exact cost depends on your location. In some locations (like mine) they force you to also pay for the regional sports networks even if you never watch them (like me). So, will run you $75-95/month! But yeah... like you said, they have 7-day free trial. If you time it out just right you can get most of the group games shown on Fubo. You may even be able to get an additional 30 days for free on top of your 7-day trial through other things (for e.g. if you bought a Roku TV).
There probably will be overlap between the games exclusively on VIX and exclusively on FUBO. But I hope Univision puts some on TUDN or Galavision.
Is there anyone on here who actually subscribes to Vix? I normally have to watch games on replay because of my schedule and whenever I try to view a "gratis" replay on Vix you get the last 15 mins of a LIga Femininia match or Contacto Deportivo and then the app crashes when the match you want to watch begins. I don't have a subscription, so I am wondering if this happens to subscribers as well? I am on a Roku TV. I'm pretty sure that the Copa America and Euro games do not overlap so theoretically we could get all of the matches over-the-air on Univision/Fox. But I was contemplating subscribing to Vix if they are not on OTA TV. If I can't get the replays to work, I will probably be forced to go to Fubo or Sling.
Not everybody can afford Fubo which is why I think FOX is crazy not to air all 51 matches on FOX FS1 or FS2
