Maybe because he is telling the truth and it really might take 2-3 years to return to top form? I appreciate someone being straight with the fans and not shullbitting us
Yeah, but pursuing Felipe Anderson? Making excuses for Allegri and/or failure to critique him? I don't see anything to suggest we should have faith in this guy.
Well Real Madrid have been a super successful club over the years, and I feel Perez deserves a lot of credit. Yes they are richer than us, but so are teams like PSG and Man City, and they’ve not had even half the success rate that Real Madrid has had over the years. I think Perez deserves a lot of credit!
I agree with anyone who is pointing out the club's financial issues. That's not on Giuntoli. That said, how can one defend his pursuit of a player like Felipe Anderson that is approaching the twilight of his career, and was never all that great to begin with? I can understand him signing young, unproven prospects or bringing up youth players; but how does one have confidence in a guy who is signing old, never-was players to a financially-strapped club? We agree he is not the cause of the club's issues--but he has not shown any sign that he's a solution. The Allegri apologism and excuse-making pointing to referees if further evidence of that.

1st Half IMO, playing better than Milan. Don't know where the 57% Possession for Milan is coming from. Too bad it Maignan wasn't playing instead of Sportiello or maybe Vlahovic scores on that FK. Will surely see Chiesa and Mac in the 2nd.
Much better Leao in the 2nd Half. Chiesa blown by Musah a few times. Keep targeting that stiff. Our best league match of the calendar year.
FT Superior to Milan. Happy with the performance. If not for Sportiello making that face-save, we win it. 2nd Place gets more difficult. But if we play this way the last 4 league matches plus Coppa Final, CL spot secured and have a chance for silverware.
I wasn't that down on the match as a spectacle as the commentators during the match were. If that quality was missing, this time it wasn't because of us. We were the ones that were trying to Attack, put efforts towards goal, narrowly missing the goal a few times (Vlahovic, Milik, goal line clearance). This is on Milan.
Didn’t get chance to watch the game but judging by your comments sounds like we played better. Maybe we should have created more and scored being as Mike maignan, Gabbia, Hernandez and Tomori were missing at the back for Milan
Gabbia played. If Mike Maignan played we would have won. They gave MOTM honors to their Defender, Thiaw, but it could have easily been their backup GK, Sportiello. This is just the football Gods evening it all out as we had absolutely no business winning 0-1 at the Meazza against those clowns last October but somehow took 3 Points. Besides those occassion there was one by Gatti in the 1st Half were the decison-making to have a shot from distance wasn't that bad (despite Vlahovic believing otherwise), his execution was horrible. Locatelli handled a pass badly that could have resulted in a goal. Instead of shooting first time with his stronger Right foot he attempted to collect a pass with his Left foot across his body and with 2 playera close to him made a mess of it. Yildiz had an opportunity where a cleaner, Ronaldinho-esque touch, would have seen him in 1v1.
Some comments out there about Lineup and Substitutes -- IMO, Max got it correct. This was a short week. Mc Kennie and Chiesa didn't start but they did midweek. Their hope for fresh legs for the 2nd Half had the desired effect, just couldn't put it away. Vlahovic was just fine in my opinion but many report cards not as complimentary. So likely me seeing it wrong and Allegri and report cards are right and so he was removed. Vlaho recieved a lot of attention from the opposition. Maybe the only sub decision he got wrong was not removing his son, Rabiot. If many Juve fans don't like Miretti on our team, then I do wonder how they'd feel if they had Yunus Musah instead. How this player finds himself on the roster on an historically top football team when a superior player like Giovanni Fabbian is fighting for scrap playing minutes at Bologna.
The second half of the season has been an embarrassment. However, as long as we qualify for the Champions League, we will be eligible to win all four trophies next year plus the Club World Cup. We also still have an opportunity to win silverware. The next manager will have a clean slate. In that sense, this season was at least okay.
