So Laporta let Alemany go and brought in Deco hoping he'd bring back the pull they had in Brazilian market. Xavi twerked for Endrick publicly, Deco traveled to Brazil to convince his family and still ends up getting rejected. Then signs Roque for 60 ME and Xavi doesn't count on him much. Doesn't sound like much better management than Bartu days.

Reportedly, the amazing performance by Xavi in the past week rattled Laporta and his cronies into waking up and realizing what an invaluable asset he was to their club and their history..
“Referee is a disgrace ..bwah bwah bwah... Ball went in.. bwah bwah bwah.. I think we won.. bwah bwah bwah....We were better ..bwah bwah bwah....All decisions went against us… bwah bwah bwah....Complete injustice… bwah bwah bwah.....” sure enough they did everything they could to keep him but the clause that’s widely believed to have done the trick is he wont be fired if he repeats the buffoonery to win more red cards than trophies again while playing victims card..

I’m happy that Xavi is staying. It’s going to be fun to see him continue to implode and spew his persecution referee conspiracy complex, mixed in with his grass condition expertise week in and week out. Xavi deserves Barca and likewise.

Im sure they will find some way to sign Bernardo Silva and a few others this upcoming offseason. I’m not worried.

In a CL semis as well. We needed that goal as Atlético were 2-0 up.

This is part of the reason I think Benz was better too, big game, not against some unknowns

Exactly. Those goals are not even comparable in terms of skill, difficulty level, pressure, stage etc., which is not surprising considering Benzema has more technique and skill in his left toe than most players, including Mbappe, in their whole body (slight exaggaration, but you get the point). Having said that, Mbappe is a spectacular player, one of the best players in the world, and a major transfer for us (if it happens).

The Isak one is crazy, he’s got great footwork for such a tall player. Still needs to bulk up though he’s been a twig forever now.

Mbappe’s speed with his footwork though is electric, even in a slow motion replay it’s hard to keep up!

I'm usually wrong with my predictions, but I simply don't see Vitor Roque becoming anything above average to good.

I like how the Athletic's Barca coverage went all in to basically blame everything negative about Barca on Xavi and will now have to completely readjust. :D

I thought Ansu Fati was supposed to be better than Vinny/Rodrygo….. oh, right he’s not even able to get off the bench for Brighton, Mes un Club, lol.

To be fair, I thought there was definitely something there with Fati. He wasn't some Munir/Deufoleiaflkeu wannabe.

Barca managed his injuries badly. That's the problem with relying too much on 16 year olds and rushing them back after injuries.

Punching a guy while he's down feels kind of wrong, don't you think?

Unless the issues are self inflicted or the guy is a pest, I can't see why we should have any hard feelings towards him.

There's concern for other young players on the current Barca squad as well. Just a lot of work for guys that are practically still growing.
