Rennes have more money than Nice which is weird because it should be the other way around. It comes down to whose owner has deeper pockets.
How about in Ligue 2? Where does Auxerre fall into this? I'm a full fledge Chelsea fan. I have been to France multiple times and hope to make it to a match some time, but would be interested in a side like Auxerre as it's closer to Paris. Are the tickets hard to find?
Most popular club in Ligue 2 right now is AS Nancy. Auxerre 9th out of 20 in avg. attendance. 5, 854 avg. in a 21, 379 seat stadium yeah tickets shouldnt be hard to get.
If you want to buy Auxerre's match ticket, you can buy it at their stadium before the match, I think it(s not very expensive. Don't forget: by comparison with Nancy, Auxerre is a small town, with a population of 35 096 (112 000 for the urban area). Nancy has a population of 105 067 (434 565 for the urban area) !
A Soccer Team Stopped Charging for Tickets. Should Others Do the Same? When Paris F.C. made its tickets free, it began an experiment into the connection between fans and teams, and posed a question about the value of big crowds to televised sports. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/10/...aCtGvGzYy10AGppNQ1vkntECtXzzjKaPyU0dR6OdLJkHz
