I never said anything about breaking records. I said they'd still fill stadiums. Maybe take some time away from insulting posters and actually read the posts. Yes, if people would stop going to NT games, buying merch and watching games on TV - for the simple reason of the NT being a crap product - maybe things would change (because the Mexican NT in 2024 is indeed a crap product).

How the hell is boycotting the national team the thing that will change, when they main reason is being crap and getting left in the dust because of club situations which the NT has no effect on? If anything is the reason we are stuck in this, because people always blame shit like friendlies played by Mexico, instead of the transfer windows when Mexico sells NO ONE to Europe and instead brings two or three guys back. People still blame Ochoa or Tata for the funk and still to this day, nobody bitching about the lack of generational change in the NT brings up how Mexico won a bronze medal and those guys all stayed in Mexico to rot and the two main guys that went are probably the better prospects we have (one of them kicking and screaming from Monterrey).
