Out again vs Villa. Quote from Iraola: After the way LUFC was wishy-washy with the nature of Tyler's last injury, I can't say this is reassuring... I think it's better to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume their medical team is playing extra-safe with Tyler for the rest of this season because the club isn't likely to be relegated, but also isn't likely to make it to Europe.
Not in today's lineup v. Wolves, but then again, not a lot for Bournemouth to play for at the moment - 8 points (& 7 spots in the standings) behind NUFC for final European spot with 4 games to play, cannot be relegated.
FWIW (not much) missing 5 matches is roughly average for his previous injury spells attributed to "back injury".
Olympic team to the Copa, u20s to the Olympics. Just like every dumbass on Twitter wants anytime there is even a whiff of a poor USMNT performance.
At this point he may as well sit out the season get well - just not sure how many more times he is going to have these extended layoffs in the future, and how much his employers will put up with it before he does get shipped back to MLS
I'm fed up with all these YA long injury layoffs the last few years. Reyna, Pulisic, Adams, Richards, Weah (though he has been better lately) I need to speak to a manager about this .... I'm quite upset.
At this juncture, there's an equal chance Adams' next contract will be as a coach not a player. Another in the long litany of Yank "what might have been" stories drawing to a unfortunate but unavoidable conclusion.
Never heard of it. Please explain to me the parameters of his specific “contract” and clauses that may provide outs for both player and club in case of repeated injury, low playing time, relegation etc. They signed an injury-prone player who was at the time injured from Leeds, and in a sense “rescued” him with some risk, so I can assure you the contract has clauses/outs. Please elaborate; and then see if you can do it without sarcasm as well.
Never heard of a soccer contract that allowed a player to be cut for injury. Can you point to any such contract existing.
Where did I say he would be cut for injury? If he keeps getting injured, eating up Bournemouth salary and not playing next season, and/or falls out of the manager's plans, they will find a way to move on, and it is not out of the realm of possibility he and his contract could be shipped on to a place like MLS. That is my whole point. No one said it would happen tomorrow or in the coming months. Anyway, off topic, Jazzy: I am still waiting for the Man City investigation to be resolved this season like you said, like Everton/NF point deductions b/c you said you worked in a law office and knew how these things worked, and it would happen swiftly. I hope you are right, even after I explained it was way more complicated and the court of sports arbitration may be involved and it could take years. I would like to see City punished if the allegations are true, but not holding my breath,
