It can't help having a clown in goal, I'll be shocked if they don't make a bid for our goalkeeper this summer.
Wednesday are in a really strong position now, Huddersfield confirmed relegated. Birmingham or Plymouth are most likely to take the last spot. Birmingham play Norwich last game and need a win unless Plymouth get thrashed by Hull in which case a draw might be enough.
That's a big-time performance today. The job's not done, but Rohl's saying the right things, and you'd think they'll be up for it v Sunderland. There's nothing about Brum or Plymouth that would make you expect either to win their finales, but football can be cruel, so I'll be nervous until it's 100% done. It's so tempting to start thinking about preparations for the next Championship campaign, but even thinking about it feels like tempting the footy God's.
No. If Wednesday lose and Birmingham City and Plymouth both win, Wednesday are down. But so much as a draw from any of those three games will keep them up.
Our goal diff is horrible. lol. -26 The Massive -16 Birmingham -12 Plymouth We will finish with more wins and still might go down... May 4th, 6:30 a.m. vs
I can't see both Birmingham and Plymouth winning so I don't think the goal difference is that important now and even if they both do Wednesday just have to avoid losing. Blackburn could still go down in a late twist.
I was just about to post more or less the same thing... We just need the Blues to not win... Same for the Pilgrims... If the both draw we're still fine... But everyone posting here knows this... lol I'd love for us to go out with a win though... not streaming on espn3 as I'd hoped... oh well..
What a crazy set of results today with all of the relegation threatened teams winning, most of the teams with nothing to play for must have been on the beach already. Hell, even we beat Cardiff 5-2 lmao. At least I'll be able to spend all summer laughing at Birmingham, hopefully if they're doing well next season they'll sack their manager and appoint another big name celebrity with no clue again.
