Would be nice to see Neymar pull a Ronaldo and come back from injury and win a major international trophy. He has had the worse of luck with injuries. 11 years since that beautiful Confederations Cup victory. 8 since the Olympics. Even winning as a substitute would be nice to see...
For those of you lamenting missing out on the presale, the prices on the ticketmaster presale weren’t much better than those on stubhub. I had a couple of 300 tickets in my cart for like 575 USD each after fees, etc. Ended up having issues checking out, so I paid an extra 40 per ticket for essentially the same seats via stubhub. Still way too expensive and rewarding non-fans/resellers, but hey, that’s ticketmaster for you.
How is the Stubhub process? Is it risk-free? What instructions have you been given after making your purchase? Because I'm guessing the tickets themselves aren't actually available yet with the QR code, does Stubhub give scammer protection?
it's safe. The worst that may happen is you dont get the ticket and stubhub refunds you 120% of what you paid. Ticketmaster and SeetGeek tickets are transferable. They'll request your email to transfer the ticket when the seller receives it. pretty straight forward.
StubHub in Mexico... Flew down for the league final in December 2019. Tickets didn't work at the gate... Scanner computer said "They were already used for entry". Stubhub gave me a 20% discount for my next purchase... lmao. Will never use StubHub internationally again. I think events in the USA will do better (like Copa America 2026). One time my tickets didn't work at a raiders broncos (Peyton Manning game) and they gave me new tickets for like $10 and refunded the rest of my money. Only missed 10 mins of the first quarter... Not bad for an NFL game... $10 to see Peyton Manning was satisfactory for me
That's when I file a claim with my Credit Card and get 100% of my money back. terrible you flew down there and got scammed. good to know.
But did any 'international fan' even get a presale code for the supposed international presale? I mean, I'm an international fan, but didn't get the pre-sale code from 'Soccer United Marketing' yet, and I didn't get any code 2 months ago either... Weird.
7k in front for me..much better than yesterday's 30k...but I don't have the code this time (international presale code) - gonna try using some old codes if they work but it's a stretch
Ha! Same for me. Just curious about inventory. Got in but weirdly it didnt lead me to a site to pick seats. Instead it just led me back to the main page announcing all upcoming presales. Weird
Same thing in the other browser. Is it that we are in the US or something? Either that or they didnt have tickets to sell today really.
Yes, correct! I have been instantly redirected to the presale page, with the countdown now at 23h 45m for tomorrow's presale (same exact thing that happened yesterday once they closed the ticket sales page after the tickets ran out ~1h in.) This could mean that Ticketmaster has already sold all tickets for this match JUST from yesterday's presale, and there are no tickets that have been allocated for future presales! Thus, Stubhub is the only place left where it's possible to get tickets for the Copa America 2024 Final!
Or it could be there was no international presale? They may be saving things for the Inter Miami presale and general sale? I'll try again tomorrow I guess!
I have not had any issues with purchases. Since Copa tickets are allocated to the original buyer instantly, if you purchase on the secondary market I would expect the seller to send the tickets within a couple days.
It's safe. I did see a comment in the tix thread for Copa America from somebody who had issues with Stubhub in Mexico but in the US I've never experienced an issue. The thing is you are relying on somebody to forward you the tickets (since the tickets are being sold by Ticketmaster but you are buying in Stubhub). But they would get severely dinged if they don't transfer it since Stubhub has their payment methods. The other option is price comparing with Ticketmaster. They say that they'll soon allow people who bought in presale to sell their tickets (it's not allowed yet). If you buy from Ticketmaster you get the tickets instantaneously since Ticketmaster just transfers them from the seller's account to yours.
It seems that Inter Miami fans, as of 2 hours ago, have started receiving their presale codes for today's 'Inter Miami STM Presale' via e-mail. Perhaps there are still more tickets to be sold after all? Unfortunately they have managed to keep the presale code from leaking, and are selling the code to others for $20-$50 (the code is universal, so if even one Inter Miami STM member shares it, it's over for all the sellers.) There are also two more presales today, a Venue Presale and an Inter Miami Member Database Presale, don't really know what those two mean or how you get a code for them.
