Fundamental flaw with unchecked capitalism, you should hear some of the earnings calls for big companies in the US, psychopathic stuff.

Unless you are a Real Madrid season ticket holder, that's already the range for tickets at the Bernabeu. To be fair to the club though, these are reseller prices not direct from the club, but its almost impossible to buy tickets from the club directly unless you are a socio. I paid ~$700 for a La Liga classico ticket, and ~$190 for a La Liga ticket against Sevilla.

The price of this ticket for the same seat is 40 Euro for a Bayern game. That's about 5 times the price for the same seat in the house.

I'm assuming that 170 Euro Real Madrid ticket will be 450 Euro when the NFL Europe game is on sale.

Curious what's the percentage of local fans in these games in the Bernabeu vs Allianz Arena. I only paid what I paid because I flew all the way to watch the games, and I am sure that's partly why ticket prices blow up that way. The Bernabeu in the games I watched seemed to be mostly tourists.

UEFA were charging £600 (or there abouts for a Cat1 seat) £360 for a cat2 and £160 for cat3 for the final in London.

    I went for cat3. Ain’t no way I’m paying that much for a cat2 and cat1.

So basically forget fairness, let’s just make more money. Ironically it would make the wins less valuable. Hard not to just see these games as friendlies. Same as the super cup games

Lol so basically they couldn’t convince anyone to take over that shit show.

I heard a nice stat during the Clasico, Xavi has more red cards than trophies as a manager

Who believed he’d actually leave? I think all that was to try and change the dynamics and take pressure off the players

Doubt it. He's contracted through 2025, and there's no cash to replace him. I think he will either stay on until season's end, or resign. Again.

But sacking him? With what cash?

See the above. It was either:

    1. Keep Xavi, or
    2. Promote Rafa Marquez from the B team.

Totally agree. Been on some of those types of calls over the years.

It's like a sickness. Always chasing more and more money, what they have is never enough. Its the same here in the PL. They always announce each increased TV deal like its finally going to satisfy the clubs, just a couple of years later it's already not enough and they are trying to think up new ideas to make even more money. It'll be what leads to the death of football as we know and love it.

Exactly; they don't have the cash to replace Xavi with a top manager.

And honestly, with a top DM and LW they will be in good shape next season.

Meh, if someone reminded Xavi that Cancelo really isn't a "defender," and to take him out when leading a match, Barca would be much better off.

Yep. The people who say "this is only a one time thing I will do in my life" to justify paying those prices help drive them up for sure. Then you have people with enough money that they don't care.

My team in Brazil has cracked down on the black market by installing facial recognition at the entrances. I am sure there are still some ways around it, but it has apparently worked pretty well.

People on stubhub literally lend you season ticket passes, I and definitely not my wife didn't look like the pics in the passes we got, they don't check at all at the gates. Since we are member run, I am sure cracking down on members profiting from game tickets wouldn't be too popular which is why we turn a blind eye.

piqué got called out for some ignorant disrespect to Bolivia and didn’t even apologize for it

a singer said she was gonna start her tour in Bolivia and he busted out laughing

then when they called him out on it he said he laughed because it caught him off guard thinking it would start in Spain

then when they asked him to apologize to Bolivians he refused

Klopp seems to be going out on a low, when was the last time Everton won this fixture again?
