All the players I've mentioned are top-class talents and would walk into most teams in Europe. Going to Dortmund or RB Leipzig will allow him to develop without the overwhelming pressure of being at a top club with low opportunity. Look at how good Xavi Simons is now; he flourished when he went to PSV and now RB Leipzig. Guler needs to play often and be a central player to gain confidence. Not only play in the Copa del Rey or in the last 15-20 minutes when we are ahead by 2-3 goals. He was literally playing in a 3rd tier European league. At least at Dortmund or RB Leipzig he will be playing in a top tier league and in the CL at the same time.
I'm still not sure Arda is this massive talent, but it seems his injuries have taken a break. I was really afraid he would be one of those players made of glass. I don't see another fate for Arda but a loan next season. We will be stacked next year. There's no way he will play anything but residual minutes. He has a lot to prove, especially to prove he's at Madrid's level.
We should understand why a club wants a loan player. Loaning players allows clubs to strengthen their squad for a specific period without committing to a long-term contract. It can be a cost-effective solution, especially for clubs with limited financial resources, as they can secure a player's services without paying a transfer fee or high wages. In other words, Arda needs to be in a place where he is needed immediately. Dortmund does not seem to be the ideal destination, given that they are not a smaller club, and they usually have their own upcoming players. Their policy has been identifying a talented youngster and sell him at a higher price later. Arda does not fit into that catagory. Besides, he should stay in Spain where he can also learn the language and culture. I don't know about Kubo's plan for next season. LaReal might need a right side attacker, and Arda might be their answer for a short term loan.
Club or coach doesn't want to talk about it now, i understand, but not loaning out him next season would be even idiotic IMO. he won;t play more, probably even less since Mbappe/Endrik will be here
Hopefully we wrap up La liga soon and he can get some minutes In the final couple of matches. also, did Turkey make the euros? would be nice to get some burn and some exposure
Ancelotti should test this guy at least in 2-3 games from start..we will secure the title before last few matches
Football clubs sign loan players temporary squad reinforcement for a specific period, especially if they are facing injury crises or have a shortage of players in a particular position. Usually, the quality of the player is beyond what the club can afford. They need him to help them. I am not sure if Dortmund belongs to the category of clubs that will place priority on a loan player.
Doesn’t Alonso play a system with two attackers behind a lone striker? I’ve only seen highlights and I’ve seen some formations etc, looks like he might play a player like Guler alongside Wirtz, with someone up top.
Tella who's the preferece there is a natural right winger and attacks mostly from the right: This is Wirtz: It's pretty obvious watching them that there isn't a 50/50 split in responsibility between two players.
From the little I’ve seen of both players I feel like it could work lol Tbh it’s all hypothetical but if Arda was to go on loan (probably needs to) I feel like it could be a good place for him.
He’s referring to Hoffman, who I believe played right attacking mid and goes inside to allow space for Frimpong on the wing. Although I have no idea who Tella is tbh lol.
🚨⚪️ Understand Arda Güler or his agents have currently not asked to leave Real Madrid on loan.No request made at this point of the season, full focus on the final weeks to help the squad then time for the Euros. 🇹🇷Talks will take place at the end of the season. pic.twitter.com/IWfjZR4sWj— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) April 14, 2024 It’s pretty much certain he’ll be going on loan next season anyway.
Carlo said he is definitely staying next year in the post game conference. He's been very vocal about how talented he is and how excited he is of his potential. He looks like a special and confident player, hopefully he can develop here instead of going elsewhere.

One of those players that can create space when it seems like there are no options available. Feels like he has Modric-like qualities when it comes to press resistance.— Matt (@MattW_MM) April 27, 2024 Arda Güler with an incredible performance. The talent is very clear. He has barely played this season, but one thing to note, he looks a lot stronger physically. He was impressive in every area of the pitch, including defensively.116 minutes, two goals. This is just the start. pic.twitter.com/7GX00HuOVK— TC (@totalcristiano) April 26, 2024 Showed good defensive workrate vs Real Sociedad. Midfield could be where he can get minutes if we continue to play 4 midfielder system in coming years. Carlo said few weeks back that lack of intensity is the reason why he wasn't used in close games. That's understandable because he missed 5 months with injury and had no pre-season. If he has the mentality to work hard defensively, he's too talented with the ball not to get rotational minutes.
He will struggle for minutes next season if he stays, no two ways about that, he’s talented but so is everyone else on the squad
Ancelotti confirmed yesterday that Güler is staying. It is evident that if the decision is made, the Turk understands that he will play more than this season, although it will not be easy for him. You already know: Mbappé, Endrick, plus who there is already. https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/04/27/662c211422601d045e8b45ba.html
