The first game is about to begin, and it is Anguilla vs. Turks and Caicos Islands. When that ends, U.S. Virgin Islands vs. British Virgin Islands starts. The second legs are on Tuesday March 26.

Edit: The first game should have started, but neither FIFA nor Flash Score has the score, and I hope the first game is not postponed.

https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/tournaments/mens/worldcup/articles/concacaf-play-offs is titled "Minnows collide in Concacaf play-off first legs."

Edit: FIFA says it is 0-0 in the 23rd.

Anguilla 0-0 Turks and Caicos Islands

Without video, statistics, or commentary, I do not know why it ended with 17 minutes of stoppage time. Anguilla did not lose a World Cup Qualifier for the second time, as they entered with 1 draw and 13 losses. The only previous game they did not lose was 0-0 at Dominican Republic on March 19, 2004, but they had to play both legs away and lost 6-0 two days later. They have not scored and not lost in any qualifier, and they have 2 goals scored and 64 goals allowed. Their only goals were a 3-1 loss hosting Bahamas on March 5, 2000, and a 2-1 loss at Bahamas on March 19, 2000. Turks and Caicos Islands got their first World Cup Qualifying draw, as they entered with 1 win and 12 losses. They have 6 goals scored and 68 goals allowed, for the same -62 goal differential as Anguilla. Their only goals were in a 2-1 win hosting St. Lucia on February 6, 2008, but they lost 2-0 at St. Lucia on March 26, 2008 to be eliminated.

https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/match-centre/match/520/288301/288309/400017784?date=2024-03-22 is for U.S. Virgin Islands vs. British Virgin Islands, which is scoreless early. We will see what Concacaf team becomes the first team to score, and if it is today or on Tuesday.

Teams get a 23 player roster, which means 12 possible subs, but three of today's four Concacaf teams to play had nine or fewer subs available.

U.S. Virgin Islands's Jett Blaschka was subbed on in the 70th, and scored Concacaf's first goal in the 73rd. British Virgin Islands got a 90+8th minute equalizer from Tyler Forbes. Today's four teams are second-to-last through fifth-to-last in the FIFA Rankings, and ahead of San Marino. I wonder if today is the first day that four of the bottom five in the FIFA Rankings played without losing.

https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/to...sa2026/articles/concacaf-play-off-second-legs is titled "All to play for as Concacaf play-offs conclude."

After nobody scored in 120 minutes to make the aggregate 1-1, British Virgin Islands eliminated U.S. Virgin Islands on penalty kicks. U.S. Virgin Islands got a straight red in the 71st and managed to not allow a goal after that.

Turks and Caicos Islands must not have communications in their stadium because FIFA does not know the score. Flash Score labeled it FRO, which means final result only.

Turks and Caicos Islands vs. Anguilla was 1-1 and went to penalty kicks, but neither FIFA nor Flash Score knows the outcome. FIFA and Flash Score did know the score during some of the game. FIFA says "LIVE 0'," and it reminds me of elections when it takes time after the polls close for results to be reported. That does not normally happen to sports games. The Turks and Caicos FA's X (Twitter) last posted five days ago. Then I got the outcome from Anguilla's FA's X:

The Round 1 winners are known, and here are the Round 2 groups:

Group A: Honduras, Antigua and Barbuda, Cuba, Bermuda, and Cayman Islands

Group B: Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, and Bahamas

Group C: Haiti, Curacao, St. Lucia, Barbados, and Aruba

Group D: Panama, Nicaragua, Guyana, Montserrat, and Belize

Group E: Jamaica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Dominica, and British Virgin Islands

Group F: El Salvador, Suriname, Puerto Rico, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla

Groups are single round-robin, with each team hosting two opponents and going to two opponents. Each team plays two games in June 2024, and two games in June 2025. In every group, the top two seeds will end against each other hosted by the top seed on June 10, 2025. That means that the second seed has the hardest final game, so the second seed should hope to be at least 3 points above third before that game. This year, each group will have one game on June 5, 6, 8, 9, and 11. Starting on June 8, teams with unequal rest will play each other. June 8 will be the first game for one team in each game, and the second game for one team in each game. The top two in each group advance. Nine days after the last qualifiers, the Copa America starts on June 20. The gap between qualifiers is because 2024-2025 will be the third consecutive season with a Nations League, which will play in September, October, and November 2024, and end in March 2025 like what just happened. The Nations League will serve as qualifiers for Gold Cup 2025.

I could post the FIFA Rankings used for the draw, but I will not. Maybe I will post the FIFA Rankings after they come out next week.
