The 40 MLS players called up for 2024 Copa América action will represent 21 clubs, which is the most in MLS history at one Copa América tournament.Chief among them are @cfmontreal and @MNUFC, who each had four players named to final tournament rosters for this summer. pic.twitter.com/XFuIrzQbMh— MLS Communications (@MLS_PR) June 18, 2024
I haven't been able to watch all the Euro24 games (I don't have Fubo), but the ones I have been viewing have been sleep-inducing affairs. Currently, Portugal vs. Czechia. Rain is a factor, for sure, but Portugal looks less than impressive...reminds of St. Louis City (the 2024 version)!
And right on cue...Czechia take a stunning 1-0 lead. For all the possession, shots, and run of play Portugal have been dominating in this match, they lack anything close to quality around the Czech goal.
I just feel the Czechs got ripped off on that one. Portugal's last goal was seconds after an obvious foul wasn't called (I'm guessing the ref was screened from it). The Czechs should have had a free kick deep in Portugal's end. Instead, Portugal take it up the field and score.

The second half of Croatia-Albania was terrific. And look, a terrible Scottish backpass leads to a stunner from MLS's own Shaqiri.
Shaqiri has almost certainly played his last game in Chicago, but he becomes the first MLS player to score in a Euro Final. Where has that been, whoever's left at Soldier Field asks...#Euro2024 #CF97— Jonathan Tannenwald (@thegoalkeeper) June 19, 2024
