And there you have it, England are now in the ranking second place: Coeficiente UEFA actualizado! #UEFARanking #UWCL #Coefficient pic.twitter.com/o8AjVvQhZx— UEFA Ranking F ES 🇪🇺🇪🇸 (@UEFARankingF) November 22, 2024
This ranking already includes points for reaching the quarterfinal(Barcelona and Wolfsburg not yet qualified). UEFA ranking has still Spain in second place. With Barcelona vs Manchester City and Real Madrid vs Chelsea still to play it's in Spain's own hands to stay ahead of England.
I think it will stay a close battle until the end of the quarter finals, English teams might play each other and therefore take points of each other. Barca could also play Real madrid in QF..
Matchday 5 coming up Qualified Group A Lyon Group B Chelsea, Real Madrid Group C Bayern, Arsenal Group D Man City Can still qualify Roma or Wolfsburg, Barcelona or Hammarby. Hammarby must defeat Barca to have a chance to stay in the tournament by 9 goals at least. Roma and Wolfsburg are level on points. A Roma win on Wednesday in their second head to head game who send Roma through.
Three games with a team scoring 6 goals last night and a 3-0. Let's see if tonight will bring more balanced games. Flying to Oslo soon apparently -7C during the day.
Hammarby fans never disappoint. Good crowd of 18.746 honouring "the Queen of Södermalm" Ellen Gibson who didn't get a contract renewal after 24 years at the club. She got to play a few mins at the end of the game.

Impressive that England kept all its three teams! Of course, I guess at this stage there can be clashes between teams of the same nation.
ManCity has been destroyed by injuries. Greenwood tore her ACL and is out for months. Hemp had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago and presumable will be out for a least a few more weeks, if not longer than that. There's been no announcement of the exact nature of the injury except Wiegman noted that it was not an ACL tear. Bunny Shaw has a leg injury of some sort, as missed two or three games, including yesterday's CL loss to Barca, and it's not known what the injury is or when she might return. Viv Miedema had her 3rd knee procedure several weeks ago and supposedly wlll be back sometime next month, but we'll see.
Greenwood is "only" a MCL and got operated. She is hoping to be fit for the Euros. Kelly has concussion and relapsed. City will go in the transfer market in January.
UEFA have finally acted on helping the teams playing in Summer league by allowing them to get more than the 3 new players allowed in the knock-out stage under certain conditions.
Here's the play where Alex Greenwood got hurt. Although it looks bad (and is bad), it didn't look "ACL-bad" to me. It's a contact/collision injury. More often than not, ACL-tears are non-contact or barely-contact injuries Alex Greenwood injury 😔 pic.twitter.com/AEqQSCQQNk— Liam (Arsenal Compz) (@LiamUnd12192005) December 12, 2024 If the link doesn't work, you can type/paste wwwdotxdotcom + /LiamUnd12192005/status/1867331880166502565
