With so many more Americans hitting up Abroad and so many other ones Changing Clubs, it is very hard to keep track.... i made this thread to keep track of all our American Soccer players. Landon Donovan (From SJ Quakes to Bayer Leverkusen) Clint Dempsey (NE Revolution to Feyernoord)- Maybe Nick Garcia (KC Wizards to Brann) Ramiro Corrales (SJ quakes to Dorados) Ryan Suarez (LA Galaxy to Somewhere in Mexico or Osasuna) Maybe Kerry Zavagnin (from KC Wizards to Hopes for Euro contract) Ricardo Clark (Metrostars to Wigan Athletic)-Maybe Earnie Stewart (DC United to Herenveen) Jonathan Spector (Man Utd to West Brom Loaned)- Maybe Clint Mathis (Hannover 96 to Real Salt Lake or 1860 Munich) Kasey Keller (Tottenham to Real Salt Lake or Fulham)
before this gets hijacked... Comparing the 2 should be on that list. But please no more comments on that here... if you want to know why comparing the 2 is in bad taste and offensive, please feel free to PM me... otherwise lets get back to the speculation on any upcoming Americans on the go.
Latest Soccer America: "CLARIFICATION: Ramiro Corrales of the Quakes is indeed in Mexico, but contrary to what was reported in The Confidential last week, he did not go there on trial with Mexican club Dorados. Corrales is visiting relatives while he ponders his next move. He is also applying for Mexican citizenship, to which he is entitled by heritage. His MLS contract expires at the end of this month."
This is precisely the kind of comment that isn't funny. I am not a mormon, but I do know something of the religion and people who are. It is offensive...
My best friend is Mormon. I just had him check this out and he thought the Mormon handgrenade was hilarious.
C'mon, dude. Lighten up! There are plenty other, far more important issues in the world for you to be taking up. Aren't there? Yeah, there are.
Origin of The Rocky Mountain Taliban line on BS. I don't know if I should be flattered or if I should contact Johnny Cochran. BTW, I think that calling Mormons "The Rocky Mountain Taliban" is about as low as a person claiming to be a journalist can go. When I used that term it was to distinguish Mormons from the type of extremism that the Taliban was known for. Your rip-off of the line was lame at best. Better luck next time.
I am mormon. Rocky mountain taliban = ignorant and tasteless. Jolt cola = not offensive but not funny either. About as original as a why did the chicken cross the road. Though I did enjoy the rest of the article. As for Americans on the go... this may be a dumb question but how could Dempsey go to Feyenoord given the EU requirements about playing a percentage of national team games?
because its not an EU requirement, its a British Workpermit requirement. I think Holland's EU requirement is based upon wages.
