They have a new album out, but I can't find anything about it anywhere. Amazon nor CD Now carry it. Even their old Minty Fresh website says nothing new.

I have attained a copy of a copy from a friend of a friend. I don't know what the album's called or any of the song names but it's F-ing fantastic.

If you're a fan keep an eye out for it. If you've never heard them I highly recommend listening to their 1998 release "What Makes it Go?". Very catchy, jerky, Euro-Pop that rocks.

I've liked everything I've ever heard from Komeda, but for some reason I've bought one of their records.

The song "boogie woogie rock and roll" from The Genius of Komeda (their first record?) is one of the greatest short blasts of new wave music ever.

Here...I'll sing it for you (vague scando-euro accent included):

    There's a
    puh-puh-puh-puh-party goin on.
    And there's some
    guh-guh-guh-guh girls we wanna meet.
    Then we'll
    fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh fall into love.
    With the
    guh-guh-guh-guh girls
    from the
    puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh party
    (One chord guitar break)

    Great stuff.
