(If Morbo the great could sticky this for 2 weeks that would be great.) We're Back....With a Chili cook-off for Crewsmas. We will have 4 or 5 different kinds of Chili to help keep warm as we take on the pink cows on the 26th. There will be a vegetarian pot of chili as well. If you feel like adding your own great recipe chili feel free. Come on over to the southwest corner of the main lot, share a beverage with your friends, grab a bowl or 3 of chili and get ready for another fun year. This year we are also trying to get more involved in helping out the Crew Soccer Foundation with our hosted tailgates and to that end we will have a FREE WILL donation jar set up at the tailgates. Please note that donating IS NOT a requirement of enjoying our tailgates.( thus the free will part.) If you feel like kicking in a buck or two great, if not great. Still come by and enjoy the food and fun anyhow. We're just trying to give back a little. Thanks.
I've been trying to think of a good name for the last year. Issue last year was that some people got confused if we said we weren't having a 'hosted tailgate', they thought it meant there was no tailgate at all. Ideas?
Actually we probably all have our AARP cards I really thought about calling it the Zip Six will hate anything I call it hosted tailgate and yes I keed also

As always if you need me to bring anything aside from my spoon (for the chili of course) and adult beverages please let me know. I will be making the hike from Youngstown and actually delayed my free (work) trip to Vegas and canceled a night at the hotel to make the opener. Me and jefbal99 will be drinking Yuengling =)
Just a little announcment for the CSU tailgates this year. Crew Supporters Union will be collecting canned goods and dry goods starting at the CSU hosted tailgate March 26 with all items to benefit Mid-Ohio Food Bank. This drive is part of Operation Feed, which aims to collect more than 5 million meals for local pantries in Central Ohio. We've set our goal at 5,000 meals raised. Every pound of food donated equals 1 meal, every dollar donated equals 2 meals. We'll be taking collections through the tailgate on June 26. Donations will not be required to join in our tailgate, but if you have a few extra cans or boxes of non-perishable food in your cabinet, we’d be thankful if you donated them at the tailgate when you can. CSU plans to have some kind of raffle involved for food and cash donations, as well as other plans to raise money for the food bank, more details to come later. Please visit this site for a list of food items most needed. http://www.midohiofoodbank.org/pdfs/MOFB-Grocery-list.pdf
I would like to thank everyone that came out yesterday to the tailgate and braved the cold and wind. Hopefully all had a great time. I know that the chili went over well and thanks to those that brought out your different recipes. I think 7 pots of chili sacrificed themselves for our enjoyment. Thanks especially to those that contributed to the food drive and the foundation. Look for the next Olde Fart sponsored by AARP tailgate to be on the 16th of April
Delicious! I enjoyed the chili, the smell of the fire pit and the case of yuengling that showed up! I had a couple of Crew newbies at the game who were thoroughly impressed with the pregame and will definitely be back!
