My voice is gone, I'm tired, and I'm an emotional basket case. Thank you, DC United, for giving this to me. Wow!!! This feels pretty damned good.
We had over 200 gathered at baileys, the next best thing to being behind the goal out in carson...you got your mug on TV again..more importantly, we took back our trophy from the grubby hands of the rest of the league.. you gonna be back in time for the rally at rfk on tuesday?
Yeah, man, we will be at RFK on Tuesday. We travelled 3,000 miles to be here today, I think we can drive 15 minutes from our house to celebrate the Cup. I can't wait to get my pictures online.
Nice to see you are sill among the living Mike. I was worried about the lot of you, being drunk before noon, standing in the sun all day, and then the emotional rollar coaster of the match itself. But, you all looked awesome today, came in very load and clear.
We cant wait either!! Please hurry!! Ive watched the game three times now, and now Im listening to the spanish audio broadcast..cant get enough of United winning the cup!
With over 200 in the room at Baileys, and the tv's cranked, yall could still be heard, AWESOME JOB!!!
We brought it today man. We got into Bo's head big time. He couldn't wait until the half was over. Seriously, we had him going nuts.
And Sigi the Hut gives you props: http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/mls_...14&content_id=19139&vkey=mlscup2004&fext=.jsp
I noticed that too. It was shortly after the 'oh crap' feeling of KC's opening blow that the boys settled down and Bo started losing his composure. La Norte had a lot to do with that as always. I particularly liked seeing Bo totally lose it at the end of the half, I was hoping we'd pepper him for another one on that end just after his hissy fit.
