Cassano has said in the press conference this morning that he hasn't trained in the last 2 weeks, so he couldn't be at 100%.

Today, he hasn't trained with his teammates, he is doing a specific tranning to recover his form.

For that reason, i think that it is very dificult that he plays against Villareal. Probably, he will play some minutes against Athletic de Bilbao the next thursday.

Cicinho is training good, so it will be Lopez Caro decision to decide if he finally plays or not. My opinion, i don't think that he plays in the starting 11, probably he will play some minutes in the second half.

Ronaldo has began today a specific training, so he won't play against Villareal, but maybe he could play some minutes against Atletic de Bilbao, although i don't think so.

Helguera is training good so he will be able to play against Villareal.

Woodgate is also training good, he already played 15 minutes yesterday against Athletic. It means that Lopez Caro really want to use him as soon as posible. It will be Lopez Caro decision if he will play against Villareal.

It is gonna be a really difficult game. Everybody knows that Villareal is a very solid team and it will be very dificult to get a positive result in its home. But they are one of the teams that are fighting for the top positions in La liga, so it would be good to not lose against them.

We definitely won't see Cassano. I don't think we'll even see Cicinho unless Salgado is injured or has a really, really bad game.

Starting XI should IMO be similar to the Bilbao game, with R. Carlos taking over for Bravo, Zizou on instead of Baptista, and maybe Woodgate instead of Mejia.

Since Beckham is suspended, Cicinho has been tried in his place in the last session.

At this moment he has few chances to travel to Villareal, he probably will stay in Madrid trainning to recover his form.

I had forgotten that Beckham was suspended. If he can't play Balboa, Diogo and Cicinho are the players than could in his position.

Villareal lost yesterday 2-0 in his home against Valencia, but they didn't played with their best players, Riquelme and company didn't play resting to play against us.

Helguera in midfiled :D i really hope he puts him there even thou that prob means pavon n woody n defence but still it might jus give us the defensive cover from the mid , plus tis better than garcia n might explain madrids push to sell gravesen if those rumors r even tru

Cicinho is excellent on the right wing, I really hope that he plays in Beckham's position.

If he completely kicks a.. (very likely to happen) does he have a chance of benching Beckham?

I think Cicinho could really be a good Right wing player. When he's attacking for Brazil he's great. His defense is not that good, but we have Salgado and Diogo. I kind of like the idea of Diogo playing at Right Back and Cicinho playing at Right Wing, I think they could have a solild link up play, and each is defensive minded enough to cover each other when one moves up the field. I'd rather see Cicinho do all the crossing and such though, we all know that Diogo's crosses don't stay in the stadium
