I read somewhere that the referee might be involved in some sort of gambling ring. But I haven't found any credible news sites that make this assertion. Rumors for now.
It's not fixed, América wasn't playing. jeje, but in all seriousness: You don't have to pay Chiquidracula for him to have an incredibly shytty game. He does that for fun.
wow what sore losers now every team that loses is gonna accuse referees of corruption the last two expulsions were legit the only one that you can really question is the first but it was still a hard foul which woulda got a yellow stop blaming others and man up teams jeez
i saw on sportscenter an interview with some dude from Monterrey showing the front page of some rag, with the mug of chiquidracula, ya know, with that smile/smirk on his face. and the monterrey dude was saying, that he was basically laughing at herrera and thiat he lacks professionalism. I sortof chuckled.
Well, the game was fairly won by Toluca.. no matter what the ref might of done. 2 of the red cards were deserved and it would be retarded to argue that fact. Now, Chiqui is probly the worst ref and I KNEW there was gonna be drama, but if you look at the overall picture, Toluca had a winning attitude the entire game, whereas Monterrey's defender (the black dude) was aggressive when Monterrey appeared to be finished. Im not a fan of either teams, so dont think im biased. My team is Cruz Azul, which lost to Toluca.. So i have no reason to be on tolucas side.
It's kinda weird that on one side of the pond Benitez is laying into Archundia for 'doing nothing' and, Chiquidracula on the other side is gettin' slammed for calling it too tight. If Sanchez isn't protected then Toluca is fvcked. Accordingly, I thought his calls were 'tight' but, not incorrect. The first red was extreme but, sheit, they were going to hack Sanchez out of the match early on. I thought Toluca played with more control and their midfield shut Cabrito and Franco down hard. Erviti was a no-show - end of story for Rayados.
chiquidracula, la historia, de una leyenda! http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/deportes/78278.html Este vato merece su propio "thread"
Referee's are human being and their mistakes are magnified to the fullest. There are good, bad and just straight up awful. They don't have the advantage that we do watching the game. there are games that are obviously horrible.. But there are Corrupted ref and there will also be.. Just look at the scandals in Germany and Brasil.. To this date the Biggest ROBBERY and nothing even come close do it was the 1990 Copa Libertadores final that Robbed Ecuador's Barcelona out of the title..My god, I remember screaming in disbelief..
YES you are right about this coment but you proabably have not FOLLOWED this guy or mexican futbol long enough or as close as we do to know that this guy Marco Antonio is AWFUL !!!! and why or who awarded him a FIFA badge ??? you just have to wonder, the truth and the bottom line is in Mexico we've always had that black sheep so to speak.... many years ago it was Yamasaki ( now the head of the refferee commision in mexico !!! ) yessss go figure !!!!! A lil later we had CODESAL who to me was the worst ever until I saw Chiquidracula and YOU should know very well who that is, remember Italia 90 ???that infamous pK awarded to Germany in the Final ??? or how about those 2 penalty kicks he awarded to England in the quarter finals against Camerun which allowed them to advance in overtime??? you see he already had bad rep in Mexico before that WC started but for some strange reason much like we have now with CHIQUIDRACULA he was given a FIFA badge and not only that but was the chosen one for that Final between Argentina and Germany which very honestly should have not been appointed after he did the Camerun/england match which was very controversial, but again GO FIGURE !!!! then in the late 90s early 2ooo we had this one ref with huge dark bags under his eyes !!! cant rememebr his name, he was awful too and now hes just a lineman somewhere in the Primera A where theres always controversy, so you see its like a pattern that never ends, referrees come in for a period of time FVCK up the Liga as much as they can and then they move on and you never hear from them again but the sad thing is they leave behind alot of what ifs!!! and many broken hearts to teams, players and fans and on ocassions even cause people to stay away from following soccer anymore because they get so sickened by the corruption. The fact is GAMBLING has become even a bigger thing now with the addition of Internet and being able to gamble online and its a huge business for many, many people and companies out there, so as long as its around and continues to get bigger i think we can expect more of this not just in soccer but in every single sport out there I think i can be confident or at least hope that Marco rodriguez never steps foot in a profesional soccer field in Mexico after all the complaints from the MAJORITY of the clubs around the league but now my question is who will be the next CHUIQUIDRACULA ????? we went from Codesal since i can remeber to the BRIZIO brothers, to yamasaki to that other one with the dark eye circles, now cuiquidracula, who next ?????? it is very sad what has happened around the world with this matter specially being borught into soccer but the sad truth is there are some very big mafias out there that will continue to throw this at us and we'll have to suffer the consequences.......
