Hi guys i was wondering if anyone can help me, I really want to go to Roma vs. Inter on March 4th/5th, and if i book the flight and hotel in advance i can get it for under £300. Big question is, how do i get the tickets, is there anywhere i can buy them online for a good price, i've seen companies in the uk dealling them but for stupid prices like £90 for a seat in the curva sud and i heard they were just €20 on the news a few days ago. Do i just turn up and get a ticket that night or what? I'll be staying in the Farnesina Hotel which is just down the road from the stadio olimpico. Also any ideas on how to get from Ciampino Airport to here? If anyone can give me some advice i'd like it thanks guys.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I know they mention Lazio, but this site may be helpful: http://www.footballinrome.co.uk/tickets.html Here's a stadium guide to the Olimpico: http://www.stadiumguide.com/olimpico.htm
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter word of advice, get tickets before you go! they want ID now, and you gotta fill out a form, to get tickets. THis is because i think if you cause ********** theyll track you down. i went in the summer, but unfortunately the first game of the season was Lazio Messina, so i went to go watch that, but I had purchased my tickets before and at a little shop. So when we went on the day of the game, me and my cousin got in, but my brother and his friends who wanted to get their ticket then, had to wait in a massive line up right outside the Lazio store, close to the olimpico. They never ended up getting them because if they were to wait the game would be done, and so only me and my cousin purchased them.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter so it would be wise to goto the roma store and get the tickets the day before (when i arrive) and take passport and stuff?
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Good job Don, you're asking all the questions I had for me. :]. I'm still trying to go to this.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter There's a list of addresses of ticket offices on this site: http://www.romaroma.it/en/ Just click on "tickets''.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Shen if that hotel is fully booked or too expensive I found an alternative Midi Hotel which is right beside the train station (i may go by train to rome, just looking at prices now)
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter is the closest Roma store to the Olympic Stadium the one at Via Orti della Farnesina 154 ?
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I've been searching around some more, and I see the Farnesina hasn't gotten some some of the best reviews. "Inconvenient" keeps popping up. Can anyone recommend a place near the city center?
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Hey Tells, my brother and I are taking my dad to Italy to celebrate his 50th birthday and we will be in Rome the weekend of that game so I'm almost positive we're going to see that game. It should be a great game. I'm planning on getting a hotel near the spanish steps, because the main AS Roma store is near there (in Piazza Colonno) and find a way to get up to Olimpico. I'm not sure if you need to register but if you go here http://www.asroma-addict.com/forums/index.php?showforum=10 it's a forum with some threads about games and tickets and such. Here are the prices for tickets, the bigger the game, the more expensive the ticket: Tribuna Monte Mario €80-105 Tribuna Tevere Centrale €60-75 Tribuna Tevere Laterale €45-55 Distinti €25-35 Curva Nord €15-18 This is a map of the stadium and the sections: I'm not sure where we'll buy tickets but I'm pretty positive my dad won't want to be in the sud. So probably somewhere in the middle lol.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter wow cool thats 3 of us going , do you have the address of the main rome store? Also the best place to sit is in the Tribuna Tevere Centrale or Laterale. The curva sud will be sold out before any of us get there 100% for sure.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter hey tells, I don't have the address to it, but if you go here http://www.asromastore.it/ there is a list of all the stores, and Piazza Colonna is the first one. I think you can click on it and a map will show, but every time I click on it, it doesn't load. If it works for you let me know. I've sort of been using Google Earth to Navigate a little, somebody on another forum had some directions from the spanish steps, I haven't been able to find it, but I've found its general location, hopefully that helps!
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I went to the Piazza Colonna store two summers ago. Lots of stuff Roma related and many bargains. I bought our home shorts for 15 euro.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Awesome, I can't wait to go there, I know I'm gonna come back with an extra suitcase of Roma gear.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Just to let those know who are going, Roma v Inter was confirmed today for the sunday 5th March at 20.30 rome time
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I went to the Roma store this summer, Im not quite sure what street it was on. Just before the Roma store on the turn, there is a Diadora/Soccer Store, half was all Diadora, and the other half was just soccer in general. But the Diadora side had a wall of Tottis shoes lol. Here are 2 pics... heres outside the AS ROMA store...i bought a nice AS Roma Vintage zip up, wit 1927 on the front and AS Roma on the back
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I'm going to be staying at the Hotel Argentina now. Are tickets for this game on sale yet? I'll be arriving anywhere from like the 28th to the 2nd - will that be too late? Do you guys think the game will sell-out? Also, what is/isn't allowed inside the Stadio Olimpico?
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter Shen.... you're like...... .. i dunno, but, my passport arrived the same day as yours I still dont know if i'm going yet also. I might have to goto a different match at the start of next season because of exams.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter You're a flake and I hate your stupid face. --- I bought the tickets late last night, I arrive on the 28th, and I leave on the 6th.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter I hope to be at this game too, and I'll definitely be at Ascoli the week after, and at Olimpico for Roma-Messina on the 19th, and possibly for whenever the Uefa cup game is.. In case anyone doesn't have tickets, if you want to see the Inter game make sure to get to an AS Roma store asap, because there may not be any tickets left in the days leading up to the game. Also as someone said, you need your passport to buy a ticket and some form of ID (they have always been fine with my drivers' liscence) to get into the game.
Re: Going to Roma vs. Inter The first thing I'm doing is going over to an AS Roma store, but I can't find any addresses of them. I went to the site and the popup didn't work for me.
