"The Wizards will also host a Season Ticket Renewal Party on Tuesday, December 20th at Dave & Buster's Restaurant and entertainment center (near Nebraska Furniture Mart) from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Fans can renew their season tickets at the event as well as take part in a question and answer session with Wizards General Manager Curt Johnson and Head Coach Bob Gansler. Dave and Buster's is located in the Village West complex at I-435 & I-70. For directions, call 913-981-6815 or log on to www.daveandbusters.com." Already announced, but since it's tomorrow... Are people planning on being there? I've held off renewing via mail so that I can renew at the party. Should be a good time. Pam at work has just been going on about how much fun this place is. Let's go...we'll look at houses later!
Just received this Announcement from Sam... Heart of America Soccer Foundation Announcement: Friends of the Wizards: As you know, the Wizards will be in Kansas City in 2006, under the ownership and management of Hunt Sports Group. This decision recognizes the progress that has been made on the owenership and stadium fronts, and is reflective of Hunt Sports Group's stated desire of finding a long-term solution in Kansas City. While behind-the-scenes negotiations take place, the best thing that fans of the Wizards can do is to demonstrate our support in the form of season ticket sales. The Wizards are holding a Season Ticket Renewal party at Dave and Buster's at Village West on Tuesday, December 20, from 6:00-8:30. Call the Wizards in advance to renew, and you'll get an autographed "Ageless Wonder" poster commemorating Preki's 10 years in MLS. Part of getting a stadium deal is proving that there is major interest in the team within the community. Season ticket sales are one of the biggest measures of support, and I hope you will all join with me in purchasing season tickets for the Wizards in 2006. Sincerely, Sam Pierron President, HASF
I'll be there with a check ready to renew my season tickets. I'll probably be a little late because I may have to work until 6pm.
Well I am now an "in" instead of a maybe, so I'll be there. I'm coming straight from work though, so I will likely be there rather early.
The girls and I will be there. Let me know if anyone wants to do the big "super" Trivia game..... We also held off mailing in our renewal to wait for the "party" at D&B.
Oh Come on Ben.... 6-8:30.... Doesn't take that long to shop. You work nights still, right? So does that mean you have days off..... Lame excuses!
