This has the look of a banana-peel game, a game that Indy should win, but the kind of match that Indy often does not win. Putting it that way may not be entirely fair to Edmonton, though. The Eddies are off to a solid start, going 2W-1D-2L in five games, and having conceded only three goals in those five games. That suggests they'll be tough to break down. Indy, after a scoreless opener, has scored five goals in the past three games; they'll need to continue that momentum while maintaining their solidity against a relatively toothless FCE attack (three goals in five games). An additional factor: Edmonton played on Wednesday in Jacksonville, and so will be tired from the extra game and travel. Things seem to be lining up for an Indy victory. But, again, this is the kind of match in which the team often faltered in its first two years. Now, I guess, is a good time to see if things really are different this year.
I'm going to predict a 2-0 win. I think we got some good momentum going for us, hopefully Omar Gordon has a bounce back performance assuming he still starts.
I think the Eleven win this one, but by the skin of their teeth, 1-0 the Eddie's are a scrappy bunch, like the poster mentioned 3 goals in 5 games
I'm not very impressed by Braun except for some nice dribbling here or there, seemed like he had a couple passes his way that he just couldn't reach or wasn't expecting to make it to him and cost us some opportunities. Then you also had the 2 on 1 with the keeper where Braun took it himself and couldn't score. Definitely prefer Reinoso there.
