Just curious, it was kind of awkward quiet at the start of the match. While there was little to cheer about during the game, the supporters were quiet. Other than the Danny Dichio song, you couldn't distinguish the supporters sections from the rest of the crowd which was quite unusual. Was this some sort of conscious protest or simply a lack of enthusiasm in supporting a team with 0 points?
I think it's fairly evident to see that they're starting to have had more than enough of what's going on. Supporters groups meetings, silent protests, protest tifos, walkouts during matches... nothing has worked. The MLSE suits and the upper 'management' clearly isn't listening to what the fans, and moreso the supporter groups, are telling them. Sooner or later, as the crowds start to get smaller (and dare I say this), you may see even the supporter groups' attendance at the matches start to get smaller as well. More than five years of substandard football is enough to make even the hardcore supporter start to question if this team is worth supporting anymore.
It's not that upper management isn't listening, it's that they're unable to fix the problem. As an organisation, MLSE is beyond repair.
In the earlier years, supporting TFC was like playing a slot machine. The odds weren't in your favour most of the time, but every now and then you'd be rewarded with a win and that kept you interested. Now TFC is like a broken slot machine that never pays out. You can't blame people for losing interest and moving on to something else.
