Servette loses to FC Breitenrain one division lower. What I wouldn't give to be at the Allmend for Zug 94-Basel. Xamax-Sion is going to be great. A derby renewed!

26 October Aarau - Lugano FC Koeniz - Luzern FCZ - FCSG Kriens - Bruehl Schaffhausen - Sion Tuggen - Basel Winterthur - Chiasso YB - GCZ
Xamax-Sion was a great match. Almost a full house in Neuchatel, too. I'd like to see Xamax make it back to the top flight and renew this rivalry. Basel seems to have a clear path to the next round. I think FCZ is going to take out St. Gallen. YB-GCZ is the most exciting matchup of the next round. Winterthur-Chiasso should be pretty good, too.
26 Oct Aarau - Lugano 2-0 @Arrows you must be happy! Kriens - SC Bruehl 5-3 Tuggen - Basel 1-4 Winterthur - Chiasso 2-1 YB - GCZ 5-0 27 Oct Koeniz - Luzern FCZ - FCSG
Yes! Very happy with the win over Lugano we have been very much under performing recently.... on another note what is wrong with GCZ?
GCZ is in a major funk right now. I would almost guarantee that FCZ would handily defeat GCZ right now. I hope that they are not too confident like FCZ was last season.
Boring 80 min, then crazy last 40. Sion goes up early 1-0. Schaffhausen scores in 90+, and the match goes to extra time. Igor Tadic then scores on a great shot to make it 2-1 in the 99th. Schaffhausen is 20 min away from a huge upset. Well at that point, Sion scored 4 times in the last 20 to make it 2-5. The draw will be on Sunday.
Quarterfinal Draw: 1 March 2017 Aarau - Luzern Basel - FCZ Sion - Kriens YB - Winterthur Sion and YB should have no problem. Basel should defeat FCZ, but it could be a very interesting match. Aarau and Luzern should be very interesting. Depending which Aarau and which Luzern shows up, that one could go either way.
1 March YB - Winterthur Should be an easy victory for YB. Assale and Hoarau looked like they can be the best striking tandem since Rossi and Giminez. Aarau - Aarau Throw the match vs Chiasso out, Aarau has been a pretty good BCL team. How Luzern takes this match will determine if Aarau gets the upset. 2 March Sion - Kriens - This should not be a difficult one for Sion, but they are a little off form right now. Basel - FCZ - The battle of the will be Champions should be interesting, but Basel has too much. All matches will be here - http://www.cupplay.ch/Live.aspx
YB - Winterthur 2-2 with Winterthur winning in PKs. YB had lots of chances to finish this earlier, but they let Winterthur back in the match. Aarau - Luzern. Two early goals for Luzern led people to think that it was over. Aarau responded with 3 goals in the next 4 to see them draw level. Two late goals won it for Luzern.
After going down early, Sion cruses to a 5-1 victory. Konate with 3 goals for Sion FCZ up after a 2' goal. If you look in the 6' when the yellow comes, you can see a Green Bay Packers hat as well as a Red Sox hat.
Basel wins and Steffan who should have gotten a red card for a kick to the groin scores the last goal. Luzern - Sion Basel - Winterthur
Is it me or is Sion in the hunt for this thing year after year? They appear to be to the Swiss Cup what Sevilla are to the Europa League!
Winterthur - Basel 1-3 Basel scored a PK in the 54; but Winterthur played well. Basel scored a 2nd one in the 85'. Winterthur made it 1-2 in the 87'. As they pushed for their 2nd goal, Fransson scored for Basel to make it 1-3. Sion - Luzern 0-0 with Sion winning in pks. 21 year old Sion keeper, Anton Mitryushkin stopped Neumayr and Haas to lead Sion to the win.
Geneva is in full prep mode. There are 8000 Basel fans expected to arrive on over 50 train cars specific for the supporters. Sion is expected to have over 13000 fans with 150 train cars. Over 400,000 CHF will be spent on Police and over 600 police officers will be on hand as the supports arrive. Both clubs will exit the train station through different routes at different times.
