The article says he's 44, but everything I have has his birthdate as 2/1/62, making him 40 (41 by the time the WISL season ends). I remember him breaking in as a 19-year-old with the Rowdies.
He's got to be pretty damn old, because he has been around forever. He's the last of the old school players.
Truly a legend in the indoor game, but, yes it's time. It was great to see him play in the MISL all-star game last year, but he definitely was a little winded and got knocked around pretty good. Time to call it a career. Is Marinaro next?
What about that old skool keeper named something like Orf ? I remember he had only about three or four letters in his last name and he was always the best keeper in the league.... is he still around these days. I can't believe Tatu is still around I remember him from th Sidekick days.
Well, Otto Orf plays for Cleveland, and yeah, he's been around a while, but surely you're talking about Victor Nogueira who has been around since, oh...forever, and seems to get better every year. The guy is the freakin' Everready bunny...He's 43 and still going.
Victor Nogueira was awesome back in his days with the San Diego Sockers. Yeah, I heard he is still playing for the Milwaukee team.
what about other sidekicks, like rusty troy and mike powers, havent they been around forever.... hey, and why doesnt paul dougherty go back to indoor, is he even doing a league this year and lastly, i hate to see tatu go but it is time, hopefully he can continue to do some good with the team
