    Thankyou Japan

For making a semi final look like a final. You guys were the team to beat in Asia and I am glad my team Saudi Arabia did it. After going down two times, you guys played like any best team would play by getting back in the game twice. I applaud the Japanese team for being the second best team in this Asian cup after Saudi Arabia.

I thankyou for standing like a wall between Saudi Arabia and the Asian cup twice. Otherwise Saudi arabia would have taken the Asian cup 5 times in a row. Because of you guys Saudi Arabia has improved a lot so as to beat teams like you.

I thank you again Japan for making a semifinal look like a final. You make me feel like we won the Asian cup.

Saudi forwards i love you so much. Especially Yaser al qahtani.

As for the Saudi fans in this forum, a group hug from me. :D

I AM SO PROUD TO CALL MYSELF A SAUDI FAN TODAY.

I am a Saudi fan too, but Saudi Arabia is not the best team yet. Only if they win against Iraq InshaALLAH(SWT) will they be the best team.

And, congratulations to Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and best regards to Japan and South Korea.

Congrats Saudi Arabia! You guys were the better team today. And good luck in the final.

Also........... Japan vs South Korea for 3rd place. I guess that is the battle for auto qualification, so I guess the game has some importance, plus there is the rivalry!

Something that has happened only from this Asian Cup onwards LOL.

I didn't like the grassrolling by the keeper towards the end, but still Saudis punished Japan for not being more adventurous and going for the kill. Both Saudi strikers look really sharp, and perhaps Maki or Sato or Yano could learn a thing or 10 about finishing from them.

yeah thank us as you let you win intentionally. when we lose it is never because our opponents are superior but either they are luckier or we let them win intentionally (in today's case is the latter). So have a moment that you won't have when the wc qualification start. oh and stop all those ********ing "thank you" and "congrats you played better" threads when you don't mean it deep inside your heart

Will Saudi Arabia play mattress soccer against their Arab brothers?

If a Saudi grass-rolls, I hope an Iraqi player kicks his head. That'll get him rolling in the grass for real.

    I'm sad about Japan's loss.

But this is what makes Asian Cup so entertaining; you never know who is
    going to win.

You guys still have a game against Iraq, so don't let your guard down!

Actually, they want to keep their guard down because the slightest bit of contact will have Saudi players rolling grass faster than Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg in a doobie rolling contest.

If I was mad we lost then why would I be making fun of Saudi Arabia's national soccer team?

It's known that Saudi Arabia/UAE/Qatar/Bahrain are primo grass rollers.

    You =

Congrats Saudi Arabia and fans. You got some deft players there! They seemed to be enjoying it as well, which is usually a good sign and I have the feeling you will win this unless players do something really stupid. I'm just glad it was pretty much a solid performance on both sides... no scruffy and dodgy matchup with results that you don't know where it came from. This was overall a crisp game.
