And does the majority of the population in Barcelona speak Spanish or Catalan or both, or what is the ratio? Barça conducts his business mostly in catalan but the most common language over the pitch must be spanish because it's the one more likely to be understood by everyone. I'd say that 80-90% of people living in Barcelona understand both languages. Half of them have spanish as a mother tongue and the other half have catalan.
