(Mod note: This is going to be a work in progress, I figure we needed an updated thread. I've copied over stuff, and tried to stay ahead of things, but I will make mistakes, please let me know where they are) Some notes: the Brasilero is off Paramount, Fanatiz has signed them, but it will be stadium sound only, as the Brasilero does not have a production company to do a world feed, Ligue 1, Serie A and EFL are expiring. So Coppa Italia is going to ESPN Plus does that mean they will get Serie A as well once current contract expires?
I'm not going to bet on it. Paramount+ seems to be betting big on soccer, and having Pulisic on Milan probably is a boost to them. I would expect ESPN+ to renew the EFL contract, especially with Wrexham getting more coverage (I'm pretty sure the goal is to get Wrexham to the Championship, where half the games are presented for TV/Streaming)
NSR related, but very interesting to see today's NBA news (ESPN and Amazon Prime are on the verge of signing a decade+ deal with the NBA, and it will be peacock/nbc vs TNT for the third (and likely final) package. Will have knock on effects that probably will be part of the negotiations for expiring rights.
Got an e-mail from Fanatiz, they have a deal for the Brazilian league minus two teams, Bragantino and Corinthians. Stadium sound only.
Australian A League just showed up on ESPN + this week! They list tomorrow's final regular season match against CC Mariners & Adelaide, but they don't have any listings on the app for the playoff finals, which start Saturday.
https://worldsoccertalk.com/tv/future-of-serie-a-us-tv/ Looks like there's two bids, one from Paramount+ and a lower one from ESPN+. Serie A had been holding out for $150 million a year, which P+ wasn't going to pay. With Serie A clubs desperate to wring every dollar out of international rights after home TV rights were basically flat, going to be interesting.
The Argentine LPF is a heavily reduced schedule on Paramount+ this season. They're only showing 5 games each week.
Italian Lega Pro Serie C on plus.fifa.com I was able to watch the promotion playoff today between Catania and Avellino. They also have archived games from the past season as well as other leagues mostly African,Asian and Oceania. It’s all free didn’t have to sign up or anything.
https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/20...ate-indycar-ufc-preakness-french-open-soccer/ The International Soccer section mentions Serie A and Ligue 1 both being up for grabs before next season starts.
This has probably already been posted, but the Univision app has the games on Univision and UniMas streaming without a paywall Great for FS1 Copa America games
I'm honestly a bit surprised that NBC hasn't gone hard after the EFL rights as well. They could corner the market on everything in England that US fans actually pay attention to.
On the other hand being hyper-focused on one league seems to be beneficial in maintaining a good quality of coverage. Showing the EFL, a league that in many ways looks like the EPL, but isn't, could cause some brand dilution.

https://www.nbcolympics.com/schedule/sport/soccer NBC seems to be doing a much better job this time of having everything organized. You can see where every broadcast of every sport is going to be, both live and in primetime replays.
