Starting this thread for Univision’s Champions League, Nations League and lots of other coverage. Also to mention that the picture for England-Spain on UniMas is really bad. Maybe something off with the satellite transmission? Pixelates badly every 30-60 seconds.
Another important tidbit Yes but Comcast does not allow authentication with the Univision app— World Soccer Talk (@worldsoccertalk) September 11, 2018
Anyone else having trouble streaming games on Univision Deportes today? Keeps having me authenicate, saying sorry there is a problem loading and then resending me to authenticate. Haven't been able to get any games to stream on there today with Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Bumping this thread up for the Euros. Watched this morning's Wales/Suiza match on PrendeTV. Early on in the match I had the app crash a couple times. It seemed to be OK in the second half. Currently the Denmark/Finland match is running smoothly. Anyone else have issues? One thing I haven't seen (yet) is whether you can access the replays on Prende.
Can confirm that PrendeTV has the replays available. It does not have the first match which aired OTA on Univision.
I'm sure everyone is waiting for my PrendeTV update. I'm watching the replay of the NED-UKR match on the app and there are COMMERCIALS EVERY FIVE MINUTES!
How long has TUDN been running an SAP English feed on Liga MX games? Or is it just on select games? Watching Nexaca v Pumas in English right now.
Yep. Been that way for a while. Only on TUDNXtra tho which usually comes when you have the package that has TUDN with it
Univision, Galavision and UniMas are now on YouTube TV. https://www.engadget.com/youtube-tv-spanish-channels-univision-145814394.html
Decreased coverage now on champions league games??..only one match on TUDN/Univsion and another on prende tv app, no 3pm ET game on galavision or unimas
Curious if Prende is still playing commercials every five minutes on replays? With Fox getting the Euro qualifiers, I think I'm going to be having to watch more of that tourney in Spanish. But the commercials last summer were ridiculous.
To answer my own question, I put on the PrendeTV replay of the Athleti-Liverpool match and 5 minutes in it breaks for commercials. Impossible to fast-forward. Man, next round of Euros & qualification is going to be rough.
I started two different Colombia playoff games tonight on Vix (via Roku). The files play for about 5 minutes and then stop and I get an error message. The first game (the early game from Saturday) was gone from the recently aired section when I started the second game. Is there actually on demand content on this service? Or do I need Vix+? And if I need Vix+, how long does the on demand content remain? Seems like a short window, which is a drag but maybe that's only for the free version.
Did you catch enough of the match to report on whether they are airing commercials every 5 minutes like they did during the Euros last year?
Following my post in the Fox Soccer thread, I'd like to start a collective effort here to share information and tips on how to access UEFA games (Nations League, Euro and WC qualifiers, friendlies, etc.) on Univision/TUDN etc. channels and apps. As many of us know, starting with the 2022-2023 UEFA Nations League, which kicked off yesterday, English-language TV rights in the US have moved from ESPN to Fox, and Fox has proceeded to sub-license most games to Fubo. Fubo is not offering a Nations League package. If you want to watch the games, you have to get a full Fubo subscription starting at $69.99 a month (vs. $6.99 a month for ESPN+). Meanwhile, it appears that Univision/TUDN have secured the Spanish-language rights to the UEFA Nations League. I was able to access the 4 early games today (Bulgaria-N Macedonia, Cyprus-Kosovo, Estonia-San Marino and Georgia-Gibraltar) on Vix (Univision/TUDN streaming platform): https://vix.com/es-es/deportes Not sure if Vix access is free for everyone or if you have to have Univision/ TUDN credentials (both channels are part of my cable package). Also not sure what Nations League games Vix will carry: All? If not, how many? Which ones?, etc. Maybe we can all help each others out and report what we can/can't access with our various cable packages and subscriptions.
Apparently, Vix is free for everyone for now, waiting on a paid tier announcement (thanks to Daniloni for the info). And just going by today's schedule, it looks like they're carrying ALL Nations League games.
Yeah this is great stuff with Vix, they have yesterday's (Thursday's) games on demand as well. The only hitch is that on the replays (perhaps it was the same way live) the announcers are slightly ahead of the game action, so goals are spoiled.
