I'm not a HUGE fan of yellow or the new Nike kits, BUT the yellow and black Nike 2004-2005 kits for BVB look great, especially the black name plates.

    Any thoughts?

Normally I don't buy jerseys (still wear my 91/92 home and 95/96 away jerseys) but this season's away shirt is just great. A must buy IMHO.

The yellow shirt is quite okay but I don't like the black name plate.

Just a question. On the club´s website and in all of the stores I saw when in Berlin, Dresden and Munich, both the home and away jerseys ONLY came in short sleeves. Does anyone, living in Dortmund or otherwise, know whether there are any places that sell either version of this year´s kit in LONG sleeves?

    Thanks.

AFAIK Nike provides short-sleeve shirts only. Even in winter there won't be long-sleeves for the BVB players or supporters. But I was really surprised to see a Nike-team (IIRC Arsenal) with long-sleeves some days ago on TV. So at all Nke provides long-sleeves but not for BVB.

I've always liked the yellow and black of Borussia Dortmund. Yellow and black are somewhat unique colors in world soccer. It makes Borussia Dortmund distinctive. And yellow and black go together quite nicely.

Because of the colors, my wife calls them "The Bumblebees". :)

Anyway, the new away jersey is awesome. I'd love to have one myself.

Pity about the jerseys, then, though thanks for your help Jonam.
