What was the fan reaction after the 1995 WWC?

    Well...the US didn't repeat as WWC champs there either. I'm just wondering what fans were saying after the loss to Norway. Were they saying DiCicco had to be fired? Were they saying some players were past their prime? Were they questioning the tactics of the team?

    No it was a good game with a lot of attacking from both sides. Both teams had skill, fitness, desire, creativity and a respect for the coach and each other. Many of those traits are lacking now for the US.

    In 1995 this was me.... :eek: we have a womens team!!! and they won 3rd place!!!!! Yay!!!

    Then a month later after i had dug up old articles and stats this was me.... :eek: We won in 91 but not now? What happened?

    I had no *#*#*#*#ing clue. Before that all i knew was Mia and the Tarheels and "damn all the chicago based universities suck!"
