Well, season's over, we need subject matter to fill the void till next season. So, if you were the Galaxy GM, with 3 SI spots, cap room, etc, which former Galaxy player would you invite back. I'm not talkin bout retirements, but players still playin, just not with us. Well, my number 1 pick, Clint Mathis, he'd provide a playmaking spark, or play as a forward with Ruiz, Kirovski or whoever. 2. Greg Vanney, him and Danny Califf were probably the best central defender combo before Greg went off to France. 3. Sebastien Vorbe, nobody remembers him, but he was signed the year Victorine, Vagenas and Califf all came on the seen, he scored 4 goals that year, compared to Victorines 3, and played in the fewest minutes of any of the rookies, donno why he was let go. Well, who are your guys picks?

Vanney for sure- We desparetly need top class defenders.

Beasley- He was originally one of ours so I guess he could be put on this list. He would more than solve our problem on left wing.

Mathis- There are many who dont like him and point to his being constantly out of shape but he can play attacking midfielder which is a position which we need to fill with Herzog's departure and Steve refusal to try out Grabavoy there. Mathis can also be deadly from long range.

Vorbe never impressed me much. He reminds me a little of Alejandro Moreno. He can score but only if he is in the exact right place at the exact right time and that didnt happen much. We currently have several strikers better than him in my opinion.

You'd have to take your pick between DMB and Califf, as we got Danny with the draft pick we got in the trade with Chicago.

Sorry for being so snippy. I missed the joke. My bad.

No, I don't blame him in the least. He doesn't fit what Sampson wants to do with the team. Maybe that's because Herzog historically has been a winner and Sampson..... fill in the blank.

In my opinion Andi would be a better manager as well. I wish him all the best of luck as he attempts to begin his coaching career in Austria next season.

Maybe we could bring him back later once the Galaxy big wigs smell the roses and realise Sampson is not capable of succesfully managing a professional team.

Why is everyone capping on Sampson i mean he's not that much...of...a...bad...coach. but he came in mid-season. remember this team was Sigi's dream team. 2005 will be steve's dream, then we'll see if he drives this team to MLS Cup 05'. Then talk S**T 'bout him k.

We could start with him "capping" that Frencho-American Regis, and ruining the 98 world cup team and then talk about everything he has done since then to deserve the LA job...

    Anyone?

    Anyone?

    Thats what I thought.
