    1) Marseille 0-3 PSG (Ronaldinho destroys the entire team of the Marseille and makes a mockery of their so called defending...)

    2) Boro 2-1 Bolton (128 yrs - nuff said. )

    3) Loko 1-0 CSKA (Golden match, Loskov winner, first ever league title.)

    4) PSG 1-0 Rapid Vienna (N'Gotty FK, top corner, PSG win the Cup Winners Cup in Brussels.)

    5) Spartak 1-2 Loko - (Ruslan Pinemov scores twice in a minute as we eradicate so many years of pain over the hands of the meat. The tide is turning, and Spartak are on the way down.)

Special 6th pick for Zenit ;)

    6) 25th May 2001 - Loko 5-1 Zenit. :D We go 1-0 down but Zaza pulls it back before the Piters completly collapse in the 2nd half.

Cool stuff. Hey can either you or Zenit do me a favor? I don't have a credit card but I found a site where you can order old matches, so if I send you money via mail can either of you order the matches for me? That and I have no idea how to fill out my address in Russian with no Cyrrillic. Anyhwey they sites are:

    http://www.sportbypost.narod.ru/footbal5.html
    Ф-5-1 Ф-5-2 Ф-5-3

    http://www.sportbypost.narod.ru/footbal12.html
    Ф-12-73

There's another site with Krylya - Alkmaar, Spartak - Ajax but I think this site is good for now. If either of you can do it, I'd be greatful.

    I don't either.... :D

Too expensive to have, plus I hardly spend a lot to warrant one.

    Good stuff.[IMG]

The best game of that group aside from Loko 3-2 DK, was seeing my beloved train lose at Highbury then all of a sudden start celebrating after we heard that the Ukies had won and we had gone through at the expense of Inter.

Even more funnier was that DK didn't go through at all and finished dead last in the group... :D

    5. Nistru - Loko 1-1 (1986 Soviet First League). A triple wammie: Nistru and Loko both are my faves + my first match ever in person.

    4. Tighina Bendery - Saturn 4-2 (1990 Soviet Lower Second League). Didn't know it back then, but 'tis somethin' to be proud of.

    3. Tiligul Tiraspol - Zenit St. Petersburg 2-0 (1991 Sovier First League). Did know it back then, and it's still something to be proud of, though the Tigs were SO much better than the Kooltoorah back then.

    2. Buffalo - Dallas 3-2 (OT) (1999 Stanley Cup Final)... Wooley... The shot heard round the hockey world.

    1. Bufffalo - Philly 8-0 (2001 Eastern Conference Quarters, Game 6). What a way to win the series. Me pregnant wife almost broke water in the last row of the stands when Andreychuk scored.

Not as funny as DK 1 - 2 Trabsonspor, or Thun 1-0 DK, or DK 2 - 2 Thun. All those are HILARIOUS

Oh and by the way how's Europe this year Xaaaxol? It must be awfully boring supporting a club who only plays in it's uncompetitive league.

    5. Any time the Minnesota Wild beat the Dallas Stars. Choke & die, Norm Green, you soulless bastard.

    4. (tie) October 26th, 27th, 1991. Minnesota Twins 4:3 Atlanta Braves (F/11) Metrodome. Kirby Puckett's fealess crash into the plexiglass in deep center field to snag Ron Gant's drive saves the game for the home side in the 3rd, and then sents hapless Charlie Leibrant to the showers in the 11th with a solo blast to send the series to game 7. Jack Buck with his immortal call of the HR, "...and we'll see ya.....TOMORROW NIGHT!" still gives me goosebumps. And what a game 7 it was...the most dominating pitching performance i have ever seen, by local boy Jack Morris.

    3. May 26th, 1999. Russian Cup final - Zenit 3:1 Dinamo. First trip to Moscow for yours truly, and what a memorable trip it was; didn't get tickets for the game, but watched it on TV with friends. No matter what, Aleksandr Panov will always be one of my favorite players ever, because of this game.

    2. April 6th, 2002. Minnesota Golden Gophers 4:3 Maine Black Bears, 2002 NCAA Hockey Final (OT), Xcel Center
With seconds left in regulation, the Gopher's Matt Koalska knots it up & then performs the celebrated "Polish Leap" into the bench, and in OT, G-Money (a.k.a. Grant Potulny or Mr. March) whacks a garbage goal in to send the home crowd into a frenzy & bring the Gophers their first NCAA title since the Herb Brooks years.

And, speaking of deal ol' Herbie (RIP,) can their be any doubt about #1?

    1. February 22nd, 1980. USA 4:3 USSR, Lake Placid. While the rest of the country celebrated, Minnesotans were especially beaming that day, as the Minnesota-dominated collegiate roster coached by Gopled Gopher player/coach/legend Herb Brooks takes down the most dominant sports juggernaut of the 20th century. I can't even count how many times I've watched this game, and I still break out in a sweat over those seeingly endless last couple of minutes.

Why do I get the funky feeling that FM created this thread with the sole purpose of trying to bring down DK?

What bothers me to no end about Loko is seeing their damn shirt on the wall at my favorite watering hole. I think I'll have to secretely replace thing with a proper football uniform on some night lol....

Well hunie, we ended up beating Trabzonspor and I agree that at the time Thun was pretty damn funny, however, they proved to be a worthy side..at least better then Rapid Viena...ok, sweetheart?
