First season - nothing much at all. It has a British crime show sensibility - more about curmudgeonly, clever personalities and “who can you trust in gov” than about violence.
There is some. I think season 2 mainly. It can get a little nasty, but spy stuff, not depraved like Game of Thrones or The Boys.
Since the discussion went there, one of my favorite shows on Apple TV+ is "For All Mankind". I didn't think it could hold my interest for 4 seasons - but it has. Really good show in my opinion. Alternative history fiction at it's finest.
Oh I just started it (episode 4 I think) Don’t know why it took me this long, I love Ron D. Moore’s stuff, but just kept putting it off
I second this one. Tehran is another interesting show. Also Mosquito Coast. And whoever initially suggested Presumed Innocent, thank you. My wife and I are enjoying it.
Did anyone actually watch the MLS Cup Final on Apple TV? According to Nielsen, the impact of MLS Cup on Apple TV viewership was negligible leading us to ask whether anyone actually watched. https://awfulannouncing.com/soccer/did-anyone-actually-watch-the-mls-cup-final-on-apple-tv.html Updating the conversation after 2 full seasons of it. I will say I did watch the final on Apple for 2 reasons. 1: Joe Tutino option, and 2, I'll give Apple credit so far, they haven't "blocked" screenshots lol. I can't watch feeds on Foxsports or Youtube TV because it blocks my computer from taking screenshots (the feed goes straight black). on Apple TV's website feed it doesn't, and I love taking in-feed screenshots of the stats and player shots sometimes.
I always watch on Apple TV+ for the same reason, the home announcer audio option. I also like the catch up option when I am starting a game late. I wonder how Neilson accounts for the Apple allowed sharing of accounts in calculating viewership. Or people watching on bootleg streams.
