It's kinda hard to find for download though. Someone had a link in a thread here where you could download a copy... Edit Note: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5956368&postcount=130
Re: New Nike Soccer Commercial I was suprised to see it as a commercial. I saw it on SC too! On the nikesoccer.com website they didn't say anything about it being a commercial. Im really glad that they had it as a commercial though. I think their most persuasive comercial yet.
It's a good thing that people say they see it a lot on many channels here, because I've only seen it twice off of FSC, both while watching SportsCenter.
Looks like it was made w/ more budget and taken seriously, is it the sign of US winning the Germany's tourney ?
He says that for exactly the purpose of getting a rise out of people. He used to do it about hockey all the time.
Here is Jim Rome's Soccer Rant from his radio show. (Mr. Rome is exercising his First Amendment right to freedom of speech & he doesn't care much for soccer.) Link is just for fun. Also, I wanted to try using RapidShare. Hope this link works & enjoy.
What's funny is, he blames the sport for the actions of the craziesd parents that you see in every sport. You don't hear him saying anything about crazy baseball, football, etc. parents that do crazier **********. Last year some guy shot someone at his son's baseball game.
First of all that town Weymouth, Mass was were I was yesterday with my high school soccer team playing a game. Wow! And second of all he is so stupidely pathetic that it is his goal, dream, noble quest to get rid of soccer in America. That's just so stupid and pathetic it's funny.
I absolutely love Rome's ability to cram a 20 second point into five minutes. I truly hope he is doing something else while he is speaking, because otherwise I would have to recognize that a guy who can't fluidly speak a complete sentence is the dominant sports talk show host in my country. BTW, I don't dislike him, just don't understand how people can listen to him for more than a minute with all the dead air and grunting noises. The commercial is great. I am very happy that Nike is investing good money into advertising soccer. If they can take Golf mainstream, what could they do with the most popular sport in the world? Does anybody know who the add agency was? Since it was shot mostly in Chicago, I would assume it is one of the Chicago agencies.
