I remember he injured the same place 3 times, the last one being the Cup match against PSG. They just kept bringing him back too early from injury. If you can remember, he did not score the last month or so before the Cup because he was playing injured. Then Monaco thought they were being generous by letting PJY go back to Korea with two games left....

    Yea I thought I saw Wenger's pedo-smile today....

we celebrate this for the day, but let's move on already cuz we've been here already if you get my drift. there are much bigger fish to fry in much more significant matches and arsenal stands to benefit from PJY's services.

his success will make for much more entertaining seasons, but man that conscription sucks gongs... the more goals he piles up the more ominous the ROK military req becomes! it's like ya can't win.

ah well, nevertheless, looking forward to more glory!

Very classy goal. I'm relieved that he finally got the goal he was looking for. Imagine if he didn't score today...

Hopefully we'll see some more great goals from "Ji Sung Park"! :)

Stewart Robson. Pops up on ESPN UK Press Pass quite frequently as well.

All those PJS goals against Arsenal through the years have seem to have left an indelible mark on the gooners. lol... :D

Was a good goal but don't get over confident.

Me too... Told you that we didn't need to worry about PJY. He's just too good to fail at Arsenal. ;)

Sooner or later, we're going to start worrying about his playing too many minutes for his club and the KNT. I just hope everyone will be patient until Boxing Day and New Years.

did he? the clip cuts off before that...funny! Well, at least Arsenal has a 'Park' of their own...after suffering so much in the hands of the great JSP!

They moved to the Emirates stadium in 2006 ... LMAO

But quality goal but likewise with Mudang not to get too overly excited JYP needs to stay fit that's his main goal (pun intended) now.

Yup, you have been pretty reliable and believe it or not, I've been paying close attention to your posts.
This is a post of mine from earlier this month.

what was messed up though was the other commentator didn't catch it either.

    something along the lines of

robson: "sorry I need to apologize for that earlier"
    otherguy: "oh?...what did you say?"
robson: "I called PCY Ji Sung Park"
otherguy: "oh really? went over my head"

this reminds me of the Fox Soccer FanZone. Back in 2006 or so, it was MU vs Newcastle...and the fan commentator for MU side said something like

MU Fan: "..alright, here come our first sub, our new man...the 'Chinese' football wizard.."

    N Fan: "ugh..I think he's Korean...I'd figure you'd knew that being a MU man"

MU Fan: "oh well, they all look alike for me"

    Idiot!!!

I was looking at the comments in the guardian article (found here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/...s-carling-cup?commentpage=3#start-of-comments) and it was nice to see comments asking for more playing time for our guy. My personal favorite:

"Wenger, please, please, please, please, please play Park some more. Even if it has to be on a wing alongside RVP. Please. The guy clearly as energy and determination to burn, and a neat little finish on him. He's been banging them in at international level and looks miles sharper than poor Chamakh who still looks like he lost all confidence"

    well done capitaine...

and now, ladies and gentleman, on to the real bits.

let us not forget after all the pining, the season is still young, lot of football to be played and he will have a direct say in the Gunners' season.
