Going for a heartbeat scan in a week to heck all is ok and also to see if it is twins or not. Of our chickens eggs over the weekend we had 3 double yokers having only ever had 1 before in the last couple of years, it's a sign I tells ya!!!
Last shot at IVF coming up in September. They have suggested that we use the antagonist and blastocyst transfer method as she has responded poorly to the drugs in the past. oh and I forgot to say, after the miscarriage I got her a kitten which was just amazing, really did the job in cheering her up, incredibly affectionate little fella. He developed some kind of nurological disorder and had to be put to sleep at 10 weeks. ho hum.....
So, following our appointment last week we are now booked in for the last week of October for our final IVF attempt. Me? I am always philosophical about these things. It works.....it doesn't work.......it's all cool to me.
Egg retrieval today, going back in on Saturday. 9 eggs found which is better than we ever hoped for....blah blah yaddah yaddah (keeping this stuff quiet from everyone you know sure gets boring)
Clinic called on Saturday to suggest we leave it until blastois stage (5 day transfer) as we had 7 eggs eek all looking good. Went in today for the transfer and had 2 put back in and 3 frozen for possible future use. now we have a 12 day wait............
Positive!! It's the 3rd time we have been in this position now so neither of us are getting carried away but still, well chuffed with that!
