The stay in Malmö FF did not go as planned. Romain Gall now leaves as boss - and it is with mixed feelings.

    - "Obvious. Everyone would probably feel anger in my situation. I have many feelings inside me. Disappointment too. But I keep working and know that things will change," he says.

Gall leaves with both a good and a bad feeling.

"Both, to be honest. I've had both good times and hard times. A roller coaster. When I first came here I scored goals, played in the Europa League and reached the national team. I have made some really good friends and I have experienced a lot. I also take that with me," he tells SportExpressen.

This says he failed a medical in Cyprus:

Unexpected development with Romain Gall in ENP. The footballer - the agreement with which our website revealed on 14/1 - came to Cyprus but did not pass the medical tests.

"The Board of Directors of UNOSIS NEON PARALIMNIOU announces that the football player Romain Thierry Gall, with whom there was an agreement in principle, failed to pass the medical tests, as a result of which he is a thing of the past for our team.

Wild part is that the other goal scorer was Michael Seaton, who is a US Citizen, though a senior Jamaica international.

Once again, Gall and Seaton score in the same match. Gall's goal was a 94th minute equalizer for 2-2. Happy Regionalliga warriors.

What happened to this guy? I've liked his game since his U-20 days, and he emerged out of MLS and had a couple productive seasons in the Swedish top division in 2018 and 2019, but has fallen off since then. Any insights from folks who have followed his career recently more closely?
