No, not really. Just hearsay. I’d prefer him at a mid table team with less pressure

Spanish newspaper Marca recently reported that Ancelotti maybe be interested in bringing Cristhian Mosquera to Real Madrid.

Man. He’d be a third or sometimes 4th CB. But the schedule looks crazy this year and Alaba is injured so he would get some burn

It would be kinda cool though. He could play for Real Madrid and not count as a foreign/Non-EU slot and still play for Colombia.

Haven’t seen anybody post about this kid. Dilan Zarate who plays for Inter Milan. Recently promoted to the first team. Moved to Spain at a young age and also played for Catalunya but seems to hold Colombia dearly. He’s currently following our national team on social media and everything points to him wanting to play for us. I think he deserves a thread and from what I can see he’s extremely talented. Can play as a 5, 8 or a 10z

To my understanding he’s atleast been called up to train by Inzaghi and is part of the pre-season

Inter never ever ever calls up or actually plays youth. Think I joined this forum and the Forza inter one when I was like 14 to look up a 16/17 year old striker that was on their youth team. That kid went no where

Italians are shit when it comes to youth development. Hope he does well and has a great career but we are like 0/10 with players at bigger clubs youth teams

the Tottenham kid sucked, Real Madrid kids sucked , Barca (Fuentes retire?), Man U (think he went to Sevilla youth team at 20?) list goes on

Has he been called up to any of the Colombian youth cycles? I feel like we’ve been slipping up in that department

now that is a credible source.

damn this would be something, unfortunately the second he doesn't instantly adapt, they'll toss him out with no remorse. They currently sent back Amrabat to Fiorentina so im sure they are figuring out what they want to do but Rios is of a similar profile

I don’t think Ten Hag is a bad manager but also not a fan in the way he treats players that fall out of his favor. Seems like a it’s his way or the highway kind of guy. Seems like a really big jump and the pressure would be huge to perform immediately. Italy seems more low key.

He would get all the playing time he wants and he is beloved there. Going to back to Porto for what could be his last Euro run would be ideal for the club that brought him to Europe to begin with.

Does make sense since his old Porto manager is now the president of the club.

They are a complete different profile imo. Amrabat is a pure CDM that can't dribble, that can't receive the ball facing his own goal and is basically easy to press off the park if you want possession. Rios amazing at receiving and can't be pressed because of his close control and can carry and progress the ball on his own.

Rios profile is similar to Frenkie De Jong, an athletic beast who can dribble and carry but also is really good defensively, I think Rios is a worse passer but defensively and dribbling is as good or better. Ten Haag loved De Jong and made him the most sought after midfielder in the world at Ajax, the link makes alot of sense as the profiles match up and Ten Haag has gone in for DeJong non stop at United but he doesn't wanna leave Barca.

This makes sense, he's loved there and it's the right type of league to get the best, and he's lived there and is used to the country, weather isn't bad either.

Continuing the discussion of Andres Gomez in the MLS thread here, it is being reported that Real Salt Lake's asking prices for him is $15 million.
