He has the look of a player who wants it. His body language is different out there this season. He is confident as the alpha dog.
Yeah, he's a physical monster. Will he develop ruthlessness and the desire to dominate? Thats what we will need to impact a top 5 league, top table team. He needs to be ruthless.
That move was Yank on Yank crime. The defender he beat was former USMNTer Ventura Alvarado. Cowell is another of the Olympics-eligible guys. I'm not sure whether we've heard if he wasn't picked or if he wasn't released.
All Mexico Liga defenders will start to force Cade goes left instead a horizontal move into right, then using his right foot to shot at far post. He has to develop the skill to go left and using left foot to go near post above goalkeeper’s head. Puli has some of his good goals in this way. But he did has a nice cross that Chichalito should finish. Few chances every game like this can help him go far. He had a monster start in the MLS before all Barcelona, Real Madrid etc talking to affect his mind. Being snubbed out of Olympic team is best medicine for his development.
Cade can 100% go left. He is more skillful than is commonly understood. He has a knack for getting shots off as well, but has also had a knack for near misses until recently. If he is getting his shots on frame, he is going to skyrocket this year. I would not be surprised to see him make a run for the 2026 World Cup roster.
that’s hearsay. Do we have a quote from either the player or representatives from Chivas or the Olympic Team?

I felt Pepi was just a bit off because he was a bit rusty. He had a lot of close calls. He's probably sharper now with Copa he might be ahead of everyone else now instead of behind. He's usually quite accurate but wasn't at Copa.
Pepi missed pretty straightforward chances at the Copa, particularly against Bolivia. He could have had 3 goals in that game. Is it Berhalter's job to show him how to kick a soccer ball?
It of course wouldn't have made one iota of difference had we scored 10 goals in that game. Against Panama, if Pepi scored, he would have had to defy physics. That's not his job. Berhalter's job is to put a midfield/wb crew out there who could play against the ball & then counter once down a man. Then v. Uruguay not deploy MMA & offense-less Scally when you needed goals. That must be confusing in your perpetual apologia that the fed canned Berhalter for an unforgivable sin of getting grouped in a home Copa, which is something you forgave & still try to.
